There is currently a legal dispute over the alleged ownership of Ireby Fell. Until this is resolved the project group have not attempted to clear the reeds which hamper the drawing of many of the remains and totally preclude the drawing of the substantial rectilinear remains which have been found during the past two seasons. Once the situation is resolved then permission will be sought to clear the reeds and complete the survey.

Rather than produce an extremely large map with all the features shown in detail it was decided to produce a web page with links to the detailed scale drawings. Any comments as to the efficacy or otherwise of this approach will be gratefully received. Back to Home Page
